Soltec (Ireland) Ltd removes waste chemicals from your business. We are expert, reliable and committed to ensuring this is managed safely and compliantly.

Through the entire process of collection and treatment our team ensure the following approach is taken:

  • Assess and collect waste chemicals at your business, completing all the classification, labelling, packaging and supporting documentation required to ensure full compliance.
  • We transfer the waste to our EPA licensed facility where it is accepted and treated either on-site or at another authorised facility. Recovery is maximised for all waste streams handled. 

We provide Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors (DGSA) and chemical operatives to customers on a part time basis as required to classify and package waste.

Our Treatment Options

Sampling and analysis is carried out on-site by our technical laboratory team who work out the best available treatment method for your waste. We offer a range of treatment methods which include solvent distillation and fuel recovery.

Transport

Prior to collection, all waste will be segregated, labelled and packaged in line with ADR regulations. Our on-site DGSA professionals will provide guidance on these requirements and provide the necessary packaging, labelling and documentation. 

Compliance and Traceability

Our technical team ensure compliance by providing Waste Transfer Forms (WTF) and certificates of waste acceptance and destruction for regulatory reporting. Our waste tracking and reporting system the Soltec Waste Tracker (SWT) allows you to see in real time the location and treatments used for each shipment we move on your behalf. The SWT system provides an audit trail and report to assist in completing end-of-year AER, regulatory and corporate requirements.

Used empty packaging such as drums, barrels and IBC’s used for the transport of chemicals are considered hazardous and must be removed in a compliant and safe manner. Our facility and transport operation allows us to collect and treat this waste stream in a reliable and efficient manner.
