Sustainable solutions
The Process
We understand that your school or institution will require a safe and secure method of waste management.
Our service provides you with a discreet and bespoke process of waste removal that minimises disruption to your school or institution.
Safety assessment and classification
The first step is to identify and classify the chemical waste that you have on site. Our Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers (DGSAs) will attend your premises. They will create a comprehensive list of the waste laboratory chemicals that you have on site. Alternatively, you may provide us with a list of chemicals or waste that you would like to have safely removed.
Our technical laboratory team will carry out an analysis to determine the safest method for containing and transporting the waste from your site to our state-of-the art treatment facility. In advance of transportation, we will segregate, label and package the waste to ensure full compliance with safety and ADR regulations.
We will provide you with a full audit trail for waste streams as well as all the necessary certification and forms you will need in order to comply with statutory and industry regulations. Find out more about our certifications of compliance and traceability.
Secure Removal
The service we provide ensures that chemical and hazardous waste can be secured on site and transferred to one of our two treatment facilities by our licenced transport vehicles.
The treatment process
Producing sustainable products
On completion of the treatment and recovery process, a range of new products can now enter the market.
Soltec’s mission is to provide economically viable and environmentally friendly solutions to our customers that allows them to dispose of their hazardous waste.
