Soltec (Ireland) Ltd has entered a new chapter following the acquisition of a majority stake in the business by Tradebe, a global environmental services company.
Founded by the Corcoran family, Soltec has built a strong reputation in Ireland for transfer station operations and solvent recycling, supporting a wide range of industrial customers while maintaining high standards in Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality.
As part of Tradebe’s Environmental Services business, Soltec will continue operating from its Mullingar facility while benefiting from new opportunities to develop synergies across the UK and Irish markets and further strengthen its waste management and resource recovery solutions.
The investment marks Tradebe’s entry into the Irish environmental services market and represents an important step in Soltec’s continued development, while maintaining the customer-focused approach and operational excellence that have been central to the business since its foundation in 1994.
